Specialist Surveys
Our specialist ecological consultants can survey for a range of protected species and advise on a wide variety of ecological considerations, which can be used to inform planning applications, prepare management plans and monitor success of management practices.
Biodiversity Net Gain
The aim of Biodiversity Net Gain is to improve the biodiversity across a site through a process of improving lower quality habitats and limiting loss of irreplaceable habitats. DEFRA have recently consulted on make net gain (as opposed to no net loss) a compulsory element of the English planning process, but many developers are already incorporating net gain into their project designs.
